National Level Virtual Conference 2022 held at SVPC

IQAC and Research Cell of SVPC organized National Level Virtual Conference on 'Inclusiveness and Diversity in Higher Education in the Light of NEP 2020'. Dr. B. S. Ponmudiraj (Adviser, Director Secretariat, NAAC) set the tone right for the conference by his inaugural address. There were four technical sessions dealt with by four eminent resource person experts in their field of knowledge.

Technical Session I was handled by Dr. Cherian Alexander (Former HOD - English, St. Joseph's College Autonomous, Bangalore), he spoke 'Inclusiveness and Diversity in Competency Building and Skill Development in Pedagogy'.

Technical Session II was handled by Dr. Suma Singh (Dean of Arts, Mount Carmel College Autonomous, Bangalore), she spoke on 'Inclusiveness and Diversity in Curriculum Designing and Development'.

Technical Session III was handled by Dr. Arul Mani (HOD - English, St. Joseph's College Autonomous, Bangalore), he spoke on 'Cultural and Ethical considerations in NEP 2020'.

And Technical Session IV was handled by Dr. Jeevan Kumar (Former Chairman and Professor Dept. Of Political Science, Bangalore University, Bangalore), he spoke on the main topic of discussion. The conference saw the participation of many professionals, research scholars, academics, faculty, and students from across the country. Out of which a few also presented their well-researched papers. The conference concluded by beginning a very fruitful discussion on National Education Policy 2020.

The Graduation Ceremony of PU 2020-22 batch was held at St. Vincent Pallotti College on 12 March 2022. Dr. Cynthia Menezes, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Director, MBA Department, Bangalore University was the Chief Guest. Director Rev. Fr. Gilbert Mascarenhas SAC, Principal Fr. Andrew Roshan Alva SAC, Vice Principal Fr. Jerry D'Costa SAC, SVP Degree College Principal Dr. E. Jerome Xavier, Vice Principal Fr. Marvin Frank SAC and Fr. Carlos Luis SAC and all the Faculties honoured the graduating students with their esteemed presence. The theme of the day "Wherever Life Plants You, Bloom With Grace" encouraged the students to go forth and be fruitful in their life, filled with God's grace.

Leadership Development Programme 2022

St. Vincent Pallotti College, Bengaluru in association with IQAC organized, 'OUT IN FRONT' a Leadership Development Programme. The resource person was Ms. Sameera Fernandes, the director of ECOSOL GLOBAL and Global Educationist. She emphasized the fact that every young individual is responsible for one moving forward and that we are all interested to lead the students on that path of success. St. Vincent Pallotti College is leaving no stone unturned in this regard.
