National Level Virtual Conference 2022 held at SVPC

IQAC and Research Cell of SVPC organized National Level Virtual Conference on 'Inclusiveness and Diversity in Higher Education in the Light of NEP 2020'. Dr. B. S. Ponmudiraj (Adviser, Director Secretariat, NAAC) set the tone right for the conference by his inaugural address. A Seminar on 'Digital Transformation in Knowledge Dissemination'

Department of Business Administration organized a seminar on 'Digital Transformation in Knowledge Dissemination' on March 16, 2022. Dr. Niranjana Vanalli, Vice-Chancellor, Bengaluru North University was the Guest of Honor who rightly set the tone for the seminar and its discussions. He cautioned us as to how we shouldn't just adopt and be adapt to digital transformation but also not lose touch with our humaneness that makes us distinct. Mr. Sunil King (Senior Director - Opteamix), Dr. Christo Selvan (Dean, School of Business, St. Joseph's College Autonomous), Mr. Paul Abraham (Data Scientist - Hewlett Packard), Mr. Babu Koshy (Business Operations Manager - Qua Quest Tech Solutions Pvt. Graduation Ceremony of PU 2020-22 Batch of SVPC

The Graduation Ceremony of PU 2020-22 batch was held at St. Vincent Pallotti College on 12 March 2022. Dr. Cynthia Menezes, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Director, MBA Department, Bangalore University was the Chief Guest. Director Rev. Fr. Gilbert Mascarenhas SAC, Principal Fr. Andrew Roshan Alva SAC, Vice Principal Fr. Jerry D'Costa SAC, SVP Degree College Principal Dr. E. Jerome Xavier, Vice Principal Fr. Marvin Frank SAC and Fr. Carlos Luis SAC and all the Faculties honoured the graduating students with their esteemed presence. The theme of the day "Wherever Life Plants You, Bloom With Grace" encouraged the students to go forth and be fruitful in their life, filled with God's grace.

Personal Hygiene and Safety of an Adolescent: A Talk

The Women Cell of St. Vincent Pallotti College, Bengaluru in association with IQAC organized a talk on "Personal Hygiene and Safety of an Adolescent" by Dr. Padmini Prasad, a consultant obstetrician and gynecologist. The talk inspired students to maintain personal hygiene to remain in good health. #SVPC #hygiene #womencell 

International Women's Day Celebrations 2022

St. Vincent Pallotti College, Bengaluru celebrated the International Women's Day on 8th March 2022 in the presence of Ms. Shubha Amrutha, a well known artist in Karnataka. Ms. Shubha Amrutha exhorted the women working at St. Vincent Pallotti College to continue the tasks entrusted to them with passion and that she respects all of their achievements. There were reverberating dance performances by Nibin (BA Sem III) and Vaishnavi (BCom Sem I), and A skit titled, 'Mindset' directed by Sir. Vishwa (Department of Kannada) was performed, which gained a lot of positive reactions.
